Stellamaris Arinze is a Legal Associate at McCarthy Mbadugha, SAN & Co, where she brings a well-rounded blend of Legal expertise, academic excellence and practical experience to the firm’s dynamic team.

She earned a Bachelor of Laws (LL. B) degree from the prestigious University of Nigeria Nsukka in 2014 and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2015, after sucessfullly completing the qualifying program by the Nigerian Council of Legal Education “Magna Cum Laude”. Motivated by a strong commitment to Environmental Sustainability, Climate Change Mitigation and Global Legal Standards, Stellamaris Arinze obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree in International Environmental Law from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in the year 2023.

Stellamaris started her legal career with the Ministry of Justice Enugu State and subsequently Enugu State Housing Development Corporation as a pupil state counsel. She further honed her legal skills at two well-regarded law firms, working on cases involving Civil, Criminal and Commercial disputes, Credit Transactions, Corporate transactions, Environmental Law and Climate Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

These experiences have laid a solid foundation for her current specialization in Environmental Law and Climate Change litigation, as well as Maritime, Oil and Gas law and Alternative Dispute Resolution. These have equipped her with the legal acumen and strategic insight to navigate complex legal challenges and deliver tailored legal solutions to clients.
